Juvenile Delinquency
This is a paragraph that I wrote for my Written test. I did not edit it or change anything it because I wanted to share how well I could write in the short period of 45 minutes. It turned out pretty long. If I edited it, I could have turned it into an essay.
There are many reasons that lead to juvenile delinquency and the following three are examples of it. To begin with, juvenile delinquency can occur due to too hard or too loose upbringing. When parents raise their kids based on tough rules that if broken, lead to severe punishments, youngsters thrive for a little bit of freedom to do as they please. Some even seek drugs or alcohol for the short pleasant experience that comes with it. If parents are too lenient with their kids, they are likely to go against their parents fearlessly, as they know that they can do what they want. Another cause is befriending the wrong people. A child can be as innocent as a new-born baby, but if he spends time with bad friends, they will surely lead him down the wrong path depriving him of his innocence. Last but not least, internet plays a major role as well. All that can and cannot be imagined exists in the internet. With a little bit of digging, youngsters are exposed to dangers such as videos of smoking, drinking, or killing, and they copy what they see out of curiosity. In conclusion, parents are advised to raise their children accordingly, watch out for bad friends, and learn how to use the net to monitor their kids.
